Marc Jacobs must like the Fall. He does his best work when he's wrapping girls up, keeping them warm and feeling fantastic. Following on from last Fall's love it or hate it show Marc continues to 'please himself' and we should be grateful, because that's when he's at his most creative, most alluring, most daring. So what of the collection, there were hints of 'Annie Hall' or maybe it was more 'seventies New York' with a vintage feel (the seventies are vintage ... Ah!) but this was above all a stylists collection with endless possibilities, lots or gray, punctuated with dark muted greens and burgundies. All together marvelous. [David McIntyre] more...
