You may have an image of Africa as an AIDs ridden continent buckling under debt, poverty, civil war and brutal dictators. Its not always been perceived that way. There was a time as recently as the 70's when Africa was blossoming, the future looked bright, new hotels, roads, hospitals and a modern economic infrastructure were being constructed.
Scott Harrison visited the Hotel Ducor in Monrovia, Liberia.
