ZOOZOOM Honored With 2007 Fashion Webby Award [Press Releases and Press Coverage]
ZOOZOOM was saluted alongside David Bowie, eBay's Meg Whitman, and YouTube Co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen at the 2007 Webby Awards.
ZOOZOOM, The Original Online Glossy, was honored with the Webby for Best Fashion Site of 2007 at The 11th Annual Webby Awards, June 5th. The Ceremony was held at Cipriani, Wall Street, New York.
Hosted by comedian Rob Corddry the Webby Award recognized ZOOZOOM for its innovative online Fashion Magazine. In keeping with Webby tradition, winners limit their speeches to just five words. Accepting the award for ZOOZOOM, Publisher David McIntyre said "Not just a pretty face." After the event he explained he was referring to their success in delivering an amazing 27% click through for their advertisers. 'We're more that a collection of original, beautiful pictures, we're a site that delivers results to our advertisers which is why many top luxury brands such as Chanel and Nieman Marcus choose ZOOZOOM as an integral part of their media mix. This is the future for sites that create real and compelling content and for advertisers like Chanel which don't want to be seen in banner ads.'

Hailed as the "Oscars of the Internet" by the New York Times, The Webby Awards are the leading international honors for websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile content. The Webby Awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-person judging academy whose members include Vinton Cerf, R/GA's Chief Bob Greenberg, 'The Simpson's' creator Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington, and Harvey Weinstein.
