Fall 2007 Fashion War Winners (and Losers) featuring Miss Sixty

Democracy is in fashion again and ZOOZOOM is ready to give the people what they want. Now that Fall 2007 fashion has broken free from tents at Bryant Park and spilled onto the streets, it's time to tally the votes from ZOOZOOM's Fashion Wars and find out the style consensus.
With a total of 300,000 votes cast on New York Fall Fashion Week 2007's looks, this season we witnessed twice the number of confrontations from the season before but in the end the victor was once again Michael Kors. Now that Michael has been sitting on the throne for two seasons in a row, the American Sportswear staple has proven that many of us are still looking for Pierre Cardin's classic women's suit, but in fabrics that are comfortable and cuts that are updated.

It is the calling of the innovative designer to explore a theme to its most extreme form in order that small elements of said theme will find their way into everyday fashion. There are, however, a few elements of his theme that could resonate into streetwear: the oversized sleeves, beret hats, flouncy skirts, and ballet slippers (already a mainstay).
