New York Fashion Week Fall 2007:: Jeremy Laing featuring Jeremy Laing

While most designers seem to be looking to twentieth century historical icons for inspiration, Jeremy looked upward and outwards: up to the ski lodge where jumpsuits allow fabric to be two different colors depending on the lighting. The ski look was supported by super high waisted tight pants that might only be flattering on models (or tall gymnasts). The garments that had the most potential to blow up in the ready-to-wear world were the pull over blazer that turned business concept into tres chic daring and the dropped waist lava clothing barrel dress that elongates the torso until the waist appears to somehow be below the hip.
