New York Fashion Week Spring 2007 :: Gottex featuring Gottex
The bathing suit is no longer just for bathing. Perhaps Gottex never thought so in the first place. Though only a very particularly shaped body would be flattered in a suit that exposed the area which some people might call their "love handles" if they are so shaped and inclined, on the body of the right woman, certain suits seemed like evening gowns. Others brought us back to the fifties, gloved hands and head wraps in classic Convertibles. Mostly black, white and brown with patterned or pink images for vibrancy, Gottex is making the one-piece bathing suit sexy, it's making a high-waisted bottom flattering, it's sunning in your sombrero and sipping a martini.
