She cites her signature as being 'shape tailoring', and it could not have been put more succinctly. The architecture of her pattern-making fits the body like a glove and uses unusual and impeccable seaming to do so. She adds details of shape and construct in unexpected ways: shoulder seams, darting, diagonal pin-tucks, etc. The mood of her silhouette is quite austere. With such strong silhouettes and tailoring, her talent and vision is relentlessly ingenious. However, I would absolutely love to see her future work with a dash of hope in the mix.
