Carmen Marc Valvo has always designed evening wear that takes us to a place of repose, no matter what the occasion. One of the most innovative treatments on some of the looks was the layering of a silk satin organza in a way that was reminiscent of the layering of rose petals in bloom. You might imagine that it would be bulky, but no, the fabric was delicate enough to mould onto the form and flow with its natural movements.
