New York / London Fashion Week Clash [Comment]

by Mike Hartley

The Daily Telegraph in the UK is reporting that New York and Londons' schedules will overlap for 1 day during Fall Fashion Week 2009 next spring. New York has been moving its schedule later and later. London has been complaining it was being squeezed out.

London's schedule will span five days, from the 20th to the 24th of February. New York presumably ends on Friday 24th. So will people skip the final day of shows in New York (including Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan) to get to London, or will day 1 of London be a little empty? Where is Concorde when you need it?
